Slow bread
Our sourdough ferments for two days. It tastes better and it is easier to digest.
Baked overnight
The bakers start at 2am so the shelves are full when we open at 7.
Cakes to order
Birthday and wedding cakes with five days notice, flavors that change with the season.
Nothing wasted
Yesterday's bread goes to the food bank on Tuesdays and Fridays.

1995
The first day
Honey Loaf opened in Midtown with a small team and a short list of things we do well.

Room to grow
Moved to Mountain Ave and added more of what people kept asking for.
